Google Chrome tabs can be quite powerful & you can organize tabs well, if you know how they work. Here are a few ways:
To move a tab
Click-press, hold a tab, drag it around and drop it wherever you like.
To move multiple tabs
To move multiple tabs at a time, press & hold Ctrl and click tabs to be selected. To select tabs from tab to extreme right to tab to extreme left or vice versa, press & hold Shift and click/select starting tab, then click/select tab (last tab) till which you want tabs selected. Anything between first tab select and last tab select will be selected. See examples.
Selecting multiple tabs (Ctrl use)
Selecting from tab A to tab B (Shift use)
Moving tabs in separate window
You can also drag and drop one or more than one tabs in separate windows, starting a new Chrome session. This may be useful to you if you find too many tabs in one window to be confusing. Now instead of selecting one tab at a time, dropping them in separate windows then merging them in one window.. on and on, you can just select multiple tabs and do same thing quickly.
