Just like any other leading product, Facebook has its flaws. Among others, one I have often been annoyed by is the type of stories it shows. News Feed typically consists of two types of stories: First, stories that friends have posted on their timeline, manually. Second, the stories that go like “Mairaj Pirzada likes this post”. If you’re anything like me, you’re not as much interested in my friends liking cute puppies and more interested in what they really share. Facebook is really addictive,
Thankfully, there’s a way to solve that. Friends feed is a little utility for Chrome and Safari that blocks stories your friends like and show what they actually shared. In short, friends feed blocks stuff that are not directly by people and pages you follow.

So you could posts directly from people and pages you follow:
The reason most people find it unbelievably impossible to quit Facebook while its time to work, is mostly these “X likes Y post” kind of posts. How? Well, everyone is liking and commenting on posts, so Facebook makes these little into stories and displays them. The thing is that Facebook is addictive because it’s always giving you something to see, thanks to posts you largely have nothing to do. This tool will hopefully you take control of your Facebook addiction 😛
